Barbara Barach

Barbara is a proud member of ABWA Class of 2023 Top Ten Business Women and ABWA CCCEN 2022 Woman of the Year. She was 2021-2022 President of Crescent City Connections Express Network and currently Executive Board Past President. She served on various committees during her 7-year membership.

She is on Louisiana Adoption Advisory Board - passionate about helping others navigate the reunion process, having reunited with her son in 2009. She is on her BNI leadership team.

Barbara is a connector with a passion for helping people. She holds BA in Sociology (UNO), MA in Forestry (LSU) and MBA (Tulane). Her first entrepreneurial venture was a wholesale business grown from flea market to nationwide fine jewelry business importing from Italy. She and her daughter, Sahar, co-owned Curves of Elmwood and their franchise was awarded Franchisee of the Year and their Coop of Curves owners was awarded Coop of the Year. Her current business, JBS Green Enterprises, markets for the largest online wellness store in North America and educates people in how to have a balanced lifestyle using the Total Wellness Approach offering natural solutions to today's health concerns. Barbara enjoys "sharing the health" with others.

In 1997, Barbara married her Tulane MBA professor, Jeffrey, who went to his heavenly home in October 2019. Together, they have 3 children, 7 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. Barbara loves connecting, traveling, sailing, and being a grandma. The friendships she has developed through ABWA and her league involvement has given her much appreciated support through a challenging time in her life.
