    Julie served as the 2015-2016 District V Vice President. She is a 2014 Top Ten, 2016-2017 Eastern Michigan Council Woman of the Year, and the 2017-2019 DV Steering Committee Representative.

    She is a member of the Suburban Connection Charter Chapter of the American Business Women's Association (ABWA). Throughout her 12-year ABWA career she has grown with the ABWA experience earning numerous local chapter offices, including their 2012-2014 President, and several awards. Julie served as the Chair of the Eastern Michigan Council in 2015 which has members from 10 Southeast Michigan Chapters. In 2013, Sullivan was recognized with the prestigious 2014 Top Ten Business Woman of ABWA. The Top Ten is the highest honor awarded to a member in ABWA. These women are applauded for their career accomplishments, community involvement, and of course, their contribution to ABWA. This award represents the best of the Association.

    Julie is currently a technical writer with 30 years as a professional in Information Technology. She is an experienced Technical Consultant in gathering requirements, facilitating meetings, and planning, creating and writing various documentation including: standard guides, procedures and policies, user guides, operation, installation documents, instruction guides and other technical documentation. She interacts well with project management, operations' staff, engineers, technical subject matter experts and all levels of company management.

    In her free time, Julie enjoys traveling, fitness walking with her dogs Kimber and Gunner, camping, gardening, reading, genealogy research, spending time with her family and friends, and doing community service projects with Rotary International and other non-profit organizations.

    She returned to college to finish her degree after a 36-year absence. She graduated in April 2020 with a Bachelor's degree from the University of Michigan-Dearborn in Integrative Studies with concentrations in Anthropology, Psychology, and Sociology.
