Meredith's Bio

ABWA / VPEN member since 2010. Serving in the following roles: VP of Administration, President-Elect, President (Best Practices Level I), Interim VP of Programming, Professional Development Chair, Houston Area Council Delegate, and Interim President-Elect. I have served on the following committees: Annual Show of Fashions - Sponsorships and Auction Item Solicitation, Annual Holiday Bazaar, Nominating, and Fundraising. I am the 2020 WOY and 2021 Top Ten Nominee for ABWA.

HAC - Hospitality/Reservations Chair, Membership, HAC Women Celebrating Women Event, Committee, Co-Chair 2019, and Lead Chair in 2020.

In 2015, I Co-chaired a new ABWA Formation WGTEN, chartered September 2016.  I have served as the VP of Programming, Professional Development Chair, Best Practice Chair, Goodwill Chair, sponsored speaker gifts and door prizes, participated in fundraising, membership drives, and activities. I am the WOY for 2020.

I am a Hand of Friendship "INNER CIRCLE" member, attended 9 Regional and National Conferences and I am a graduate of the 21st Century Woman Program. APEX campus - having received over 8 APEX Awards with multiple certifications.

I am an Entrepreneur, specializing in handcrafted inspirational home décor & gifts, an office manager bookkeeper and part-time as a funeral assistant. I'm married, have 2 sons, a daughter-in-law, and 2 beautiful, fun, energetic granddaughters. I am involved in my church, serving on the board currently as Vice President, active in several committees, and my husband, Gary, and I have been on our Altar Guild serving together over 18 years.  I enjoy being with my family, going to the Theatre, attending Broadway shows, and seeing live entertainment. But most of all, I enjoy ABWA.
