Beth Lovell

I have been a member of ABWA for 25 years (except for a 3 year absence). Much of my business and many of my friends are all a result of my ABWA membership.  

In 2016 my husband passed away and my ABWA membership has been a wonderful way to connect and reach out to others - also to have such support from everyone !  

As a Resume Writer, Employment Consultant and HR Manager for Small Businesses I have many opportunities to help people land the job of their choice!  

I am one of very few Resume Writers with 25 years of HR Management and hiring experience - giving me an opportunity to share the hiring process from the view of  Hiring Managers.

I enjoy sewing, gardening and reading, always keeping a book or 3 handy to read about new ideas or mysteries from the great Agatha Chrisite.

I am curently working on a "Getting the Perfect Job" Manual to assist the job searcher get hired for the job they desire!  

As an ABWA member for 25 years I have been President many times for many different chapters, in addition being on the Board for over 5 years, including the Keystone Council representing all chapters in our area.

I have attended many conferences and love meeting members from outside of my area.  There is no point in being a member of a national organization unless we reach out to the members in other states and chapters!  I have learned so much from other members in other locations.  It has allowed me to participate in many excellent courses and learn much from our teachers - an opportunity not given in our single location or venue.  I encourage other members to attend a conference and meet, learn from and enjoy hearing from people outside our "comfort zone"!
