Carol Nagel

The journey began on an Illinois dairy, crop and pig farm; as the oldest of two I received all the first honors - Showing Cattle - driving - birthing calves....leaving home. Kansas City provided computer education, Banking and National Advertising employment. During that time I completed my AA in Accounting, Paralegal Certification and BS in Business - at the same time the best part was happening - two daughters. The Lone Star State calling was too loud for me to ignore, so this young gal went south not west. Houston was the lucky winner. Employment put me in the Oil and Gas industry - imagine that! I was playing with numbers and still am today. Houston is where I was introduced to ABWA.  In 2010 I became a residential Realtor in the Northeast area of Houston.

ABWA member since 2001 of Humble Artesian Chapter in Kingwood Texas. Served as President, Recording Secretary, Treasurer, Coresponding SEcretary, Membership Committee, Scholarship Chair, Delegates for HAC (Houston Area Council) and FHPW(Federation of Houston Professional Women). Serving on the Houston Area Council as the Sponsorship Chair, Treasurer Records Auditor 3 yrs and Officer Selection Committee.

I love my ABWA "sisters"; they have helped me work past hills that I needed to climb. I also love helping my sisters climb over and around their hills. It can be with an attentive listening ear; support to take that class or learn that procedure or commite to a different position in the chapter, by spreading their wings; I am there to help them grow as needed.
